Climbing for under16's
Anyone can climb — and that goes double for kids. Rock climbing builds confidence, problem-solving, and a love of the outdoors. Whether it’s a first taste or a full season, there’s a place for every young climber here.
Let's get them climbing
Young climbers
And families
Kids don’t need to be brave to climb. They just need a first move. We’ve watched it happen hundreds of times — the hesitation, the focus, then the look on their face when they’ve reached their target.
That’s what we’re here for. We run outdoor climbing sessions for children of all ages on Malta’s real limestone, with experienced guides who take safety seriously at every step.
Below you’ll find everything we offer — from Family Climb Experiences for those trying it for the first time, to a Kids Club, a Youth Development Programme, and Birthday Adventures.
All outdoors, all gear provided, all abilities welcome. There’s a place for every young climber here – and their family.
6+ fun sessions
Kids outdoor climbing
Fun sessions
Some kids have already tried a climbing indoors. Others have just been scaling furniture, trees and anything else they can get their hands on since they could walk. Either way, this is where they get to find out what it feels like on real rock.
Kids Club sessions are fun, relaxed outdoor sessions for children aged 6 and up.
There's no pressure and no prior experience needed — just a chance to explore the limestone, start to understand how climbing works, and get a feel for it with other kids, and experienced coaches alongside them.
It's the perfect starting point. And for a lot of kids, it's where the obsession begins.

Youth development
Sport climbing
When it's time to take climbing a little more seriously, they'll start to take the same path as any adult climber, but we tailor everything to each individual's appetite and aptitude for learning.
The ultimate goal is for them to work towards becoming a skilled, confident (and safe) outdoor climber. But one step, or route, at a time!
entry level
Transitioning from just having fun into learning some skills and technique. We focus on basic movement, footwork, top-rope confidence. They'll start to learn how all the climbing gear works and learn how to interact with others at the crag.
intermediate
Stepping it up. At this level they'll start to take on harder grades with technique, not just strength. We get them belaying, thinking more consciously about route reading, start them lead climbing and work on improving communication and confidence.
advanced
Becoming experienced climbers. We'll work together to ensure all their technnical skills are honed and have them confidently lead climbing and lead belaying. At this level they'll have a training plan, with clear goals aligned with their ambition.

why climbing for kids
COMMUNITY
Climbing and being out in nature has a way of bringing kids together — it's a fantastic way to help them fell part of something.
FOCUS
When you're on the wall, nothing else exists. No notifications, no noise. Just the next hold. Children find this remarkably grounding.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Routes are puzzles. Kids learn to look ahead, plan, adapt when things don't work — helping them develop vital life skills.
CONFIDENCE
Every move a child figures out on their own is a small proof that they can do hard things. That transfers off the rock.
